As an accredited robotic surgeon, Dr Lorentzos uses two state-of-the-art systems — the Corin OPS Hip System and MAKO Robotic Knee. Both are designed to achieve sub-millimetre accuracy in implant placement, leading to a more natural-feeling joint and potentially faster recovery.
Dr Lorentzos focuses on conservative measures where possible. For patients requiring surgery, Dr Lorentzos' utilises techniques that offer patients less scarring, accelerated rehabilitation, reduced post-operative pain, and minimal functional restrictions during recovery — getting you back to daily life sooner.
Dr Lorentzos recognises that treating injuries and arthritic conditions is not a one-size-fits-all approach. He combines surgical expertise with open communication, ensuring every patient is well-informed and has explored all conservative treatment options before considering surgery.
Dr Lorentzos is a Visiting Medical Officer at Prince of Wales Public and Private Hospitals. He consults from five locations across Sydney — Randwick, Westmead, North Strathfield, and Rouse Hill — and operates at Prince of Wales, Westmead, and Lakeview hospitals.
Dr Lorentzos provides structured post-operative care designed to empower patients toward sustainable outcomes and lifelong management. Two post-surgery review appointments are provided free of charge, with the first review typically scheduled between 2–8 weeks and a second between 6–12 months after surgery.
Our goal is to deliver personalised, evidence-based orthopaedic care to restore mobility, relieve pain, and support every patient in their journey towards a stronger, independent life.
