Tailored physiotherapy services for every need

Initial Consultations

During your initial consultation Dr Lorentzos will conduct a comprehensive assessment to understand your condition, review imaging, and discuss tailored treatment options to restore movement and reduce pain.

Follow-up Appointments

Follow-up appointments can be booked if you wish to discuss/reassess treatment options with Dr Lorentzos, or to review your progress and make adjustments to your management plan to ensure optimal recovery and long-term outcomes.

Post Surgery Reviews

Post-surgery reviews are scheduled for every patient to ensure you receive structured post-operative care focused on monitoring healing. The post-operative appointments are free of charge, and allow Dr Lorentzos to guide rehabilitation, and support a safe return to usual activities. Depending on the type of surgery you have done, the initial post-operative review is booked between 2-8 weeks after surgery. A second post-operative review is usually scheduled between 6-12 months.

Telehealth Appointments

While we prioritise in-person appointments for most thorough assessment, Dr Lorentzos understands that accessing the consulting locations may not always be possible, but expert care and guidance should be. If you do wish to book a telehealth appointment, please discuss this with one of the friendly reception staff by phone/email.

Surgical Procedures

Dr Lorentzos treats a wide range of conditions. Surgical procedures are discussed and planned with the patient, specific to their current concerns.

Surgery Fee Schedule

We specialize in providing expert physiotherapy care to help you move freely and live without pain. Our comprehensive treatments focus on pain relief, injury recovery, mobility improvement, and long-term wellness.

Dr Lorentzos operates on private patients at Prince of Wales Private Hospital, Lakeview Private Hospital, and Westmead Private Hospital.

Private Health Insurance allows you to have control of the location and timing of your surgery.

Our staff will provide you with a surgery fee estimate which will have a breakdown of the surgeons fees, Medicare rebate, and Health Fund rebate so you know the total out-of-pocket fee in order to allow you to make informed choices. Accommodation, hospital expenses and prosthesis are usually covered by your health insurance, depending on your level of cover and other factors. Surgical assistant and anaesthetist's fees are covered by a combination of Medicare and Health Fund rebates as well as a patient contribution, these are seperate and external billings.

Please note insurance companies vary significantly in the coverage offered and the level of reimbursement provided, so once surgery has been decided, patients should contact their health fund to confirm their level of cover.

Dr Lorentzos operates on public patients at Prince of Wales Public Hospital in Randwick. As a public patient, you will be added to the Public Waitlist upon completing an admission form with Dr Lorentzos. An admission to the Public Waitlist can be completed during your appointment with Dr Lorentzos, but please note all appointments in his Private rooms are billed privately and must be paid in full on the day of your appointment.

Upon booking surgery, an approval request will be sent to your insurance provider using the claim details provided. Once approved, all operation fees and post-operative consultations will be charged directly to your insurer with no personal charge to you.

You may choose to be admitted as a Private Self Funded (PSF) patient if you do not have health insurance. As a PSF patient, the hospital will provide a quote inclusive of the cost of the prosthesis and imaging services. You will be responsible for the surgical, anaesthetic and accommodation fee, although you do receive a considerable portion back from Medicare. If this is your preferred option, we are happy to provide you with a detailed breakdown of costs in order to allow you to make informed choices.
